Well, I don’t intend to de-motivate you for this, what I actually mean is, that blogs are just like tree, they keep growing, but you can’t watch it growing everyday. In the same way, blogs keep growing, but you wont notice it if you keep looking at your blog’s traffic stats regularly, it takes a lot of your blogging time also. I would suggest you to look into your blog’s traffic stats once in a week, or once in a month, and Focus on your blog’s content.
Don’t worry about traffic initially, because the most important thing for a blog is content, people will be coming to your blog to get some information, and if that’s not there, it is going to put them off and they will never come back. Make at least 100 post in your blog an then go out on other social networking sites, forums etc… and talk about your blog.
One more thing, the blog is exactly six months old now with over 120 Quality Articles and more than 200 Comments. I also have written the revenue report of 2009. Initially, I never went out of the blog seeking for visitors. My main motive was to create content and write useful information to people who will come to my blog. It was from the month of December when I started going on other sites and talk about my blog. I am not able to see tremendous growth of blog on a daily basis, but when I look at the stats of November and compare it to December, there is an amazing growth.
I would suggest you the same thing. Don’t try watch your blog’s growth everyday, because then the only thing that will happen is you will get frustrated with the results. Just create content and give your blog time to grow.

Hmm, very good pointer and analogy. I’ll be sure to let others know.
